Looking for a volunteer opportunity that’s fun, meaningful, and uniquely local?
Join us for Doors Open Duluth on October 4, 2025.
As a volunteer, you’ll help bring this exciting event to life by connecting visitors to the fascinating places and stories that shape Duluth.
Most volunteers serve as "greeters" and take on a single 4-hour shift at one of the participating venues, working alongside another volunteer. Greeter volunteers welcome visitors, assist with check-in, and share event information. It’s a flexible, rewarding way to meet new people—and explore parts of Duluth you might not otherwise see.
We also need a few “on-call” volunteers, who aren’t stationed at a specific venue but are available to fill in where help is needed on the day of the event.
