Open Book is a community gathering place dedicated to diverse and dynamic creativity, conversation, and collaboration rooted in the literary and book arts. Founded in 2000 by 3 organizations – The Loft Literary Center, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, and Milkweed Editions – now also the home of Weavers Guild of Minnesota, New Arab American Theater Works, Doorway Massage, Mayfly Design and FRGMNT Coffee.
What to Expect
Open Book will have multiple activities and chances to engage with the building and staff! Staff led building tours, crafts, family friendly karaoke in our theater, and weaving and writing activities with the Weavers Guild and The Loft Literary Center plus Daiko and Yalla drumming! · 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm EXCLUSIVE building tour with building architect Garth Rockcastle!
