The preservation and adaptive reuse of the historic Nokomis Theater into the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center sought to unearth, preserve, and restore as many original architectural details as possible. The building has come full circle: from a cultural amenity, to an arts center devoted to industrial art forms.
