For over 40 years Architectural Antiques has specialized in deconstructing and salvaging unique pieces. We sell artifacts such as lighting fixtures, stained glass, built-ins, hardware, fireplace mantles, and ecclesiastical elements. Each piece that passes through the store is on its way to a new environment. Located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis, we reside in a handsome 4 story brick and timber building. The building was originally a factory for Nash’s Coffee Company and used as such until 1946. Come and learn the history of the building and the treasures we have inside!
What to Expect
Architectural Antiques is an architectural salvage and lighting business located in Northeast Minneapolis. We have been operating for more than 45 years. Just as it was in the beginning, our store is brimming with antique architectural elements such as lighting, hardware, windows, doors, sinks, cabinets, fireplace mantels, iron, stone, and more. We provide professional rewiring service for our lights, and any advice and insight on how to integrate our other varied inventory. It is our mission to keep these beautiful unique pieces of the past alive by highlighting their elevated materials, lost craftsmanship, and forgotten methods.
On Sunday, we will be open for guided tours and behind the scenes of our store. Visitors will be led through the store to see our photography studio, light shop, hardware department, and our shipping and receiving area. We will also highlight unique pieces with storied pasts that have been preserved through the work that we do.
Self guided tours on Saturday 10 to 4, guided ticketed tours Sunday 10 to 4
