  • City of Lakes Waldorf School 2344 Nicollet Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55404 United States (map)

CLWS has been offering a dynamic educational experience for students ages 18 months to 8th grade for over 35 years. Join us for kids + family activities and tour our historic building, built in 1922 by Magney & Tusler (the architectural firm behind the Foshay Tower)!

What to Expect

Join us for a joyful day of creativity, connection, and screen-free fun for the whole family! Enjoy hands-on activities indoors and out—music, nature-inspired crafts, circus demos, and more—celebrating Screen-Free Week (May 4–10) and our uniquely screen-free curriculum. Tour our historic 1922 building, explore our classrooms and outdoor play spaces, and visit our beloved crabapple trees planted with Jane Goodall—and head home with simple, creative ideas for spending less time on screens and more time creating and exploring.

Learn more and view the full schedule on our website: https://www.clws.org/doors-open-minneapolis-2026/
