One of the most celebrated art museums in the country, the Walker Art Center is known for its innovative presentations and acclaimed collections of contemporary art across the spectrum of the visual, performing, and media arts. Over the course of more than 100 years, the Walker has evolved from a privately held collection into an internationally recognized institution and civic resource.
Parking & Drop-off: Visitors can park in the attached city ramp off of Vineland Ave for $8. Limited free and metered street parking and the nearby Parade Lot are also available.
Drop-offs should take place near the main entrance on Vineland.
Alternative Transportation: A new Metro Transit bus station has recently been added to the corner of Hennepin and Groveland.
Bicycle racks are available on the north and south end of the campus.
